Professional Strengths
My High Five strengths were Empathizer, Catalyst, Brainstormer, Coach, and Problem Solver. As a kid, I observed the interactions my stepdad had with business partners and other situations of how he conducted himself. It gave me some insight into what it takes to run a business and how you should run it, he himself is highly successful and I’ve always wanted to become like him one day. Besides specific tips and tricks, there are other things you can learn or develop in life to help with your future career, more specifically in the business field. I develop my communication skills earlier on; I have always been a talker. It comes natural to me, finding the right words is the trick and understanding them is even harder especially in the business world. Although it may not have been a pure experience, it was enough for me to use to my advantage to develop and progress my soft skills that I have gained throughout my experiences. Some other skills would include teamwork, negotiation, and leadership skills. These couple of skills can be developed through experiences you acquire in life but molding them into the way you want will take time, such as for a business aspect. There is a lot I need to work on and even more that I need/want to learn.

Philosophy
I would consider myself to be a realist and not negatively, although it can become negative, I try to not let it be. I like to understand the outcome of obstacles and try and predict it or the answer to a question. I know it's not always the simplest things that I conflict myself with, but I have a hard time "just going with it" and understanding that everything happens for a reason. I was a weird kid, you know when you didn't want to ask if a friend could stay over so you made them ask, I just wouldn't even ask or have them if I thought the answer was most likely a no., I don't like defeat or not having a chance to succeed. It takes a lot out of me to not worry about the what ifs, when I can be realistic about my chances or odds against something that's going to happen. There's this quote that really like written by William Arthur Ward an American writer, it said "The pessimist complains about the wind; the optimist expects it to change; the realist adjusts the sails." That spoke to me because it's basically saying that instead of complaining and hoping for the situation to fix itself, a realist gets down to it and figures the problem out without wasting any time. Which is a perfect explanation of how I think and see things, I hate beating around the bush and when people are lazy and avoid problems by just sitting around and complaining about them. Just how I think, I'd like to incorporate that into my everyday work life in my future career.

Philosophy continued
If everything goes according to plan, I will be an operations manager of a business and will be able to address any problems that occur or come up when handling the good or services of the company that I'm working for, by just getting the realistic percentages and outcomes of these situations to be able to figure them out quicker and more efficiently. I believe my mindset will definitely help me with my future endeavors, by keeping my head on my shoulders and not letting me back down from a challenge. Also, it may come as a useful tool to help others with their problems and situations, I'm the type of person who will be honest and not tell you what you want to hear, but what you need to hear. It may be called as being blunt or brutally honest, but that's just how I am. It may just be my opinion, but I think it's a better alternative to getting crushed by ones hopes not coming true when I could tell them that something might not work out, with that being said I do my best to give the people around me the best advice possible and by doing so with care and understanding.
I will say that it does get in the way of some things and being able to accomplish them, but I don't let it stop me from doing what I need to do. I do still to this day need to work on myself and some things to be able to use my way of mind to my advantage more and keep pushing forward. As long I can help myself and others around me in a positive way then I will be happy with the outcome.
